Thesis abstract :
Impact investing is the investing with the motivation of social or environmental impact along with the financial return. Currently, impact investing is one of the emerging topics and asset classes in finance. It is believed that it fills the financing gap in the ecosystem where countries and respective governments are not able to finance projects related to the Environment, society or broadly speaking UN listed sustainable development goals.
During my research, I will explore what are other factors that will be considered by the investors apart from financial return along with the social or environmental return. What are the different risk factors related to impact investing and what are the impact assessment tools to measure the impact ?
