Entrepreneurship Team Research
Themes
The team is continuing its work on the business model, particularly regarding the functions it can fulfill (business design and redesign, diagnostics, pedagogy, communication, etc.), as outlined in a recent publication in the RFG (Verstraete, Boncler, Dondi, 2022). In addition to the consistently popular topics of entrepreneurial support and entrepreneurship education, starting in 2024 the team will initiate work on the following themes:
- Negotiation in entrepreneurship
- Pitching
- Value sharing
- Reducing cognitive biases in entrepreneurial decision-making
- Pathology and entrepreneurship
- The valorization of research in entrepreneurship
Some projects developed by team members connect these themes to IRGO’s areas of focus (CSR, wine, digital).

Objectives
The team has set three main objectives:
· To produce fundamental knowledge about entrepreneurship in order to withstand the inevitable trends resulting from the current enthusiasm for the subject;
· To generate useful knowledge by transferring it into practice, as demonstrated by the creation of the GRP-Lab.com platform;
· To provide teachable knowledge, including through the development of original teaching methods (e.g., using film).
How it works
The team meets four to five times a year on Friday mornings. Whenever possible, each meeting includes a research component, a practical component, and a pedagogical component. Guests, particularly from other teams, are invited to share their expertise on topics relevant to entrepreneurship (e.g., AI).
Outreach and projects
The team regularly participates in the congress of the Association Internationale de recherche en entrepreneuriat et PME and the congress of the Académie de l’Entrepreneuriat, with some members being particularly active in these associations (e.g., vice-presidency, launching journals, or serving as associate editors, etc.). Several other international conferences are also targeted.
