Human Resources Team Research
Themes
The members of the Human Resources team conduct a wide range of research related to the world of work, covering areas such as employer branding, career management, and work attitudes and behaviors. This research spans various sectors, helping to diversify the fields of study and enrich the understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by a wide array of organizations.
The team’s research is primarily aligned with the social dimension of the CSR focus area within IRGO.

Objectives
The team has set itself two main goals:
- To actively engage in the supervision of doctoral theses and HDR (Habilitation to Supervise Research).
- To support and enhance the scientific output of its members.
How it works
Established in 2013, the HR team is the most recent of the IRGO research groups. It brings together a group of faculty researchers and affiliated scholars conducting work in the fields of organizational behavior and human resource management.
A monthly meeting (from September to June) is dedicated to monitoring doctoral students’ progress. Additionally, writing workshops and research project discussions are held on an ad hoc basis (three workshops were organized in 2022–2023). The HR team also regularly hosts conferences on current HRM topics, offering a cross-perspective between practitioners and academics.
Outreach and projects
The team members publish regularly in ranked national and international academic journals. They are also highly involved in editorial responsibilities and serve on the scientific committees of peer-reviewed journals and academic conferences in the field of Human Resource Management.
The Human Resources research team provides academic support for the management programs at IAE Bordeaux, with a particular focus on the Master’s degrees in Human Resource Management.
