Focus in CSR Topics
Themes
The research carried out in the area of CSR axis is aimed at improving our understanding of the organisational transition problems, which we are adressing through two pillars:
– the for-profit pillar, with a more specific focus on local SMEs ;
– the non-profit pillar, with a focus on not-for-profit organisations, social economy enterprises (SSEs) and the public sector.
The researchers associated with the CSR axis are above all members of their thematic research teams, so that the approaches, methods and issues addressed encompass a wide range of concerns.

Objectives
The CSR axis supports IRGO researchers in their CSR projects. In terms of events, this involves participating in the organisation of conferences, seminars and workshops. In terms of the quality and influence of the research, the aim is to raise awareness of the opportunities offered by the CSR environment to the members of the axis. In addition, the axis is animated thanks to its ‘transition specialist’ researchers. To this end, the axis uses various forms of exploitation in relation to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, including impact research at the heart of organisations, publications for the general public in the press, teaching tools, open research, conferences and academic publications.
How it works
The workshops are the axis’s first lever. They enable researchers specialising in transition to question their practices and move forward in their research processes.
Relationships with the environment are a second lever for action. The research theme intends to play an active role in the ecosystem’s debates by further strengthening its relations with players in the economic and social worlds and with researchers from other schools and universities, in order to develop federative collective projects.
Lastly, support to projects led by members of the axis provides opportunities to enhance the impact of our research.
