Research topics

  • Disciplinary research: from physical distribution to virtual intermediation: industrial distribution is the historical core of my research concerns. With the rise of online sales, I turned my attention to the virtual nature of intermediation, first analyzing the challenges of multi-channel strategies. Over time, the multiplication of points of interaction with the consumer has oriented my work towards the broader conceptual perspective of omnichannelity.
  • Educational research: At the same time, my pedagogical initiatives have gradually made me more aware of the “Scholarship of Teaching and Learning” approach. This involves systematically questioning one’s teaching practice and the learning of one’s students, while linking these investigations to educational knowledge and communicating publicly about this questioning. Is it possible to improve student motivation to learn marketing? This question was the starting point for public communications with the Education and Management Science communities. Since, I’ve developped an interest in many other issues, such as student success and learning spaces.

Teaching and responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • In charge of assisting students in their search for internships and work-study programs at BUT Tech De Co (5 different successive internships, 2 graduating classes of 140 students, 4 work-study programs).
  • Organization of internship assessments (SAé)
  • Accompanying peer teacher, member of the companionship scheme for teacher training at
    the University of Bordeaux since September 2021.
  • Member of the editorial board of e-tudes magazine. Pédagogies de l’enseignement supérieur Open Lab IN’Pact Université de Bordeaux, first publication 2nd quarter 2023.
  • Elected member of the Bordeaux IUT Marketing Techniques department board since 2010.

Teaching

  • Designer and evaluator of digital resources since 2006 for IUT en ligne.
  • Co-designer of a marketing teaching method: the “fil Rouge product”, winner of the PEPS 2016 ministerial excellence award.
  • Co-designer, producer and moderator of the MOOC Apprendre le Marketing Autrement on the F.U.N platform (2017-2018).
  • Teaching at Bordeaux University:
    • Fundamental marketing in all cycles of the Marketing Techniques DUT (initial training, apprenticeship, continuing education)
    • Guest lectures on topics related to my research interests in various master’s and bachelor’s programs at the Université de Bordeaux.
