This research proposal seeks to point out a conceptualization and illustrate a framework for this thesis. The main objective is to answer the question of what remains in the minds of customers after the experience and how much they remember or in this case how much they forget about the experience Context: Lack of academic development when analyzing memorability in culture related to wine, some memorability studies have been conducted related to tourism (Hosany et al., 2022) and in wineries (Saayman & van der Merwe, 2015) but there is a general scarcity in academic research in forgetfulness research apply in tourism (Farmaki, 2021). To start is relevant to mention that this work covers concepts such as customer experience, memory, forget and forgetfulness, and how they affect the customer. This will be studied in the tourism sector where some extra like visitors’ experience, memorability and satisfaction levels could be explored.
